flowie

Privacy, in plain English

Flowie is run by Damian Wang, a sole trader in Melbourne. This page explains what happens when you reply to Damian's post on flowie.au.

What's kept

Your reply, first name, industry, suburb, email and/or phone, the time you replied, and how you found the page (for example, from a shared link).

What's public, and what isn't

Nothing you send is shown to other visitors. Only Damian sees your reply and details. The page just shows how many people have replied. Straight after you reply, you'll see your own reply under the post for 5 minutes; that's in your browser only.

Why

So Damian can get back to you about the problem you mentioned. Nothing else.

Where it's kept

In a private spreadsheet that only Damian can see. A short notification also goes to his phone. The website host (Vercel) briefly keeps server logs.

Likes

A like is just a number. Your browser remembers that you liked the post; nothing about you is stored.

What's never done

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or have your reply taken down, at any time. Just reply to any message from Damian, and you can opt out whenever you like.
